Near the Jurassic Coast, England's first Natural World Heritage site, we're close to the famous Cobb beach at Lyme Regis and West Bay fishing harbour. You can go fossil hunting at Charmouth, or walk the coastal footpaths to Golden Cap, the highest point on the South Coast where you can enjoy far-reaching views of the Lyme Bay.
Discover the unspoilt villages and leafy lanes of the Marshwood Vale, explore the Chesil Beach, Swannery, Children's Tithe Barn and sub-tropical Gardens at Abbotsbury or wander around the interesting square at Beaminster.
Take time out to enjoy the busy market days at Bridport, there's a farmers market monthly promoting local food, you might even meet Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage fame. Don't forget to try out our many pubs that serve good food or there's a wealth of cafes, restaurants and tearooms - you're spoilt for choice!  Visit local fetes, carnivals and activities, we also have a nearby leisure centre, 2 golf courses, cycling, water-sports, diving and horse riding.
